The atmosphere has water in the clouds that leave in the form of precipitation and freezing. The water condensates and forms the clouds
The water freezes in ice and snow, and as the snow and ice melts they release water. Sublimation is when a solid such as ice evaporates straight into a gas without beoming a liquid. This can happen when ice contacts a hot substance.
When the rain reaches low points in the ground it infiltratesd into the ground, this process is called deposition also the rain runs off of mountains and hills to reach low points
Once the groundwater drains into the ground it drains into a hot point in the ground or drains into a lake or ocean, then evaporates
Plants can also do a process called evapotranspiration where the plants evaporate water into the air from photosynthesis.
Once the water drains into the ocean or lake or other body of water, it sits there for a while until it evaporates
Lastly the water evaporates into back into the atmosphere and it repeats the process. There are some variations in The Water Cycle but that is a summary.
