  • The French and Indian War
  • How ridiculous! why are they taxing us? we should be taxing them!
  • The Boston Massacre
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • The French and Indian war is the most significant cause of the American Revolution. Because if it wasn't for this war, Great Britain wouldn't of had territorial advantages in North America. Which later caused the British to gain a dept from having a larger empire. That then resulted in them taxing the colonist which caused them to rebel against them.
  • The Boston Massacre is the second most significant event in the American Revolution. Because if it wasn't for this riot, the colonist wouldn't have realized the situation at hand which later helped unite the colonies against Great Britain. Not only that but this event also helped spark the colonists desires for American independence.
  • The Intolerable Acts is the third most significant event in the American Revolution. Because if it weren't for this specific event, the Patriots would't of had the First Continental Congress to start a protest. Which with time as matters got worse, the Revolutionary war broke out as well as lead to the declaration of independent for the United States.
