THE JOURNEY OF THE VIKINGS
The Vikings became extremly good at building fast strong ships and became great seafarers and navigators. They realized that raiding other lands was much easier than farming. So wth their great skill of ships and navigation instead of farming they would steal from other places to get their riches.
Vikings started to settle in England but others looked elsewear for land. A viking named Nadod discoverd a land that in later years was called iceland.
Erik was a cruel leader and for killing two men his punishment was to leave for three years. During these years he discoverd a land and called in Greenland. After the three years was up he loaded 24 ships filled with people to Greenland.
After Thorvaid's brother Leif returned from Greenland he put a group of people together to search in the Vinland. Once they got there during an attack with the natives Thorvaid got killed by an arrow.
Later after Throvaid's death a viking named Thorfinn and 140 other men traveled to the Vinland. After three years of good fortune the winters were getting to harsh. I battle arose with the Inunits and they decided to leave. Eventually only the vikings in iceland survived.
