Storyboard Text

  • In today's class we will learn about Natural selection.
  • Natural selection is the process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring
  • Lets talk about say birds for example
  • Long ago before natural selection occurred birds were all similar . The birds went through natural selection to adapt to the different environments they live thus making birds with slight different variations
  • For example if there is a scarcity of small seeds there will be a chance for birds with long beaks to survive as it is easier for them to get food therefore there will be more birds with long beaks
  • Therefore this shows natural selection!
