Speed= distance on object travels per unit of speed average speed- the total distance divided by total time instantaneous speed- at one given moment how fast something is going
I am very confused on the difference between speed, average speed, and instantaneous speed because they all seem so similar..?
Thats easy! Just write these formulas down!
Calculating speed= distance/ time calculating average speed= total distance/ total time
Okay but now how do you calculate speed and the average speed?
A reference point is a stationary object that is used to judge direction and speed of an object.
Okay thanks! Also, what is a reference point?
example: a school could be a reference point when you are sitting on the school bus on your way home.
