Storyboard Text

  • Introduction
  • Hi there, I'm Bob. I'll be teaching you how the Roman Empire fell!
  • Christianity
  • People went to church everyday instead of joining the army.
  • People had more interest in church and their God than the Roman Empire.
  • Economics
  • The Emperors spent too much money on luxury goods and not enough on armies to defend the vast empire.
  • Many cities gained courage to take on Rome.
  • Taxes
  • Emperors are too demanding of their people. Romans become loyal to barbarians.
  • Slaves
  • Fewer slaves to do work; high death rate among other workers.
  • Parties
  • More interseted in having fun than protecting Rome.
  • THE END
  • Romans accept barbarians so they can avoid taxes.
  • Slaves are dying by the hundreds.
  • The people had little care for the army anymore.
