Storyboard Text

  • It was Mischief Night! A night my best friend, Sal, and I had been planning for weeks.
  • "Do you have the soap and toilet paper, Sal?" I asked.
  • "Yeh, I got them; however, I took them without asking. If my mom finds out she will kill me!" Sal exclaimed.
  • "Oh boy! Let's go have some fun; let's make sure we don't get caught!" I warned.
  • "Yeh! Let's do this! This could be the greatest night of our lives, or the last night of our lives." Sal chuckled nervously.
  • "Do you see anything, Ryan?" whispered Sal.
  • Kneeling behind a large tree by our first target, I peeked over the side, intently studied the house and wondered, "who lived there?"
  • "The coast looks clear." I declared. "Let's teepee the yard first."
  • As we were sneaking our way across the yard for some good old fashioned mischief night fun, we suddenly came face to face with a large, snarling, angry dog. Sal and I froze in our tracks. (Idiom)
  • "I-I think I recognize this dog, Sal." I stammered. "His name is Th-the Beast! Run for your life!"
  • "Do you realize whose house that was, Sal?" I gasped.
  • Sal and I ran as fast as we could into town and as far away from The Beast as we could. We dropped our mischief night supplies along the way. We were out of breath and laughing at our misadventure.
  • The End.
  • "Yes!" Sal boomed. Our principal, Mr. Tonelli's! That was the dog he has pictures of all over his office! Good thing we didn't get the chance to teepee his house!" Sal snorted with laughter.
