Storyboard Text

  • Caesar refusing the crown he was rewarded
  • He was thrice presented the crown and he thrice refused it
  • Brutus soliloquy prior to the Conspirators showing up
  • It must be by his death; and for my part, I know no personal cause to spurn at him
  • Caesar's Death
  • Et tu Brute?
  • Caesar refused accepting the crown which shocked the Roman people. This is what Made Cassius believe Caesar would become a tyrant.  Leading to Caesar's eventual death
  • Antony's Speech
  • I have come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
  • Prior to the conspirators showing up to Brutus' home he has a conversation with himself deciding what to do. Brutus is a noble guy and decides to do what is best for the Roman people. He eventually agrees to help the conspirators.
  • Brutus and Cassius' Arguement
  • I denied you not.
  • You have done that you should be sorry for.
  • Caesar is murdered by the conspirators in front of the Capitol. His last words show that he was shocked Brutus was involved. It also shows how Caesar eventually accepts his fate.
  • Brutus' Death
  • Farewell, good Strato. Caesar, now be still. I killed not thee with half so good a will.
  • Antony speaks after Brutus speaks to the crowd.  Brutus trusted Antony that he wouldn't sway the crowd against Brutus, this is eventually what led to Brutus leaving the city.
  • Me thinks there is much reason in his sayings.
  • This shows the fight between Brutus and Cassius where they both realize that they were wrong for killing Caesar. This is where you first see Cassius become affectionate. 
  • It sums up that Brutus was wrong for the killing of Cesar and he was manipulated into joining the conspirators. Brutus accepts his fate and runs into a sword. Caesar's ghost warned Brutus of his fate at Phillipi.
