Storyboard Text

  • Scene 1
  • Omg, i'm so irritated. I can't believe she made us play in the sun.
  • Exactly! And we still have a test later. Four test in a week. Terrible planning by the teachers!
  • Scene 1
  • Oh gosh, i just realised our recess is 2 hours later. Just kill me please
  • Are you serious? This is like the worse day in the week
  • Scene 1
  • Is the aircon on? Why is it so warm?
  • Just bear with it guys...
  • well, we all know the school's aircon needs conditioning. When will they decide on fixing it honestly
  • At the basketball court, two local students are complaining about the warm weather and the bad time table.
  • Scene 2
  • i really don't understand how these local students can just complain and complain all day. Back in china, my village did not even have air-conditioning! And our timetable is way longer than this as well
  • I know what you mean. They should really count their blessings and appreciate what they have. In china, we see so many people suffering, jobless and homeless. And here, there are people complaining about almost anything and everything!
  • On the way to class, their complains did not cease. The whole time, two MCS overheard their complaints with slight unhappiness.
  • Scene 2
  • Hey aden, we were just wondering. Why do the locals here complain so much?
  • hmm.. actually i would say it is part of our culture. Since young, we hear people around us complaining all the time. And due to high levels of stress as well. Don't think too much of it! Most of the complaints are just harmless passing remarks!
  • In class, the two local students rambled on about the poor air-conditioning.
  • Scene 3
  • I wouldn't say i'm entirely convince by that. But i think i have a better idea of the complain culture here i guess!
  • Yup, me too! Perhaps we should try to understand that these remarks are harmless and not keep tying them to what we think by comparing China to Singapore
  • During break time, the two MCS students aired their displeasure at the local students incessant complaints.
  • The MCS saw their close friend aden, who is a local student. Hence, they decided to ask him why do local students have so many endless complaints
  • The two MCS managed to clear misunderstanding about the local students, dispelling misconceptions about them being too pampered and sheltered.
