Hello and welcome to Mohenjo-Daro one of the biggst citys in the Indus civilisations. The current year is 7000BC and, right now I am standing on the Indus river the longest river in Packistan.
Here is a good example of what our homes look like.As you can see they have flat tops that are strong enough to walk on, so when it is very hot outside and we need a cool place to sit sleep or just hang out ,the roof is a perfect place for that . Familes also used them for extra space.
As you learnd in the pervios slide we do not use money we use trading. Now, sometimes we have to travle a long ways citys and even differnt countrys. So we can get our goods. Now the other traders will not just give us there goods we have to give somthing to them what we will give is grain ,pots pans ,and cotten coth. One of the main Indus civilisations perviders was Mohenjo-Daro with as you also know is one of the biggest citys on the Indus civilisations.
Theis is a brick shower tray somthing that we use for keeping clean and having good higene. How we use it is that we take water from our local well and then we come back to our shower room try and pour water all over our selves. To keep our city clean our durty water comes out of our houses, goes through the pipes that we have and then in to the drains that we have in the road.
This is the grat bath. It looks like a swiming pool. But is used for prisets and rulers, for religus purification or ceremonies .The Idus religion is based on Hindusim, for example the Hindusim belive in a mother goddess and the Indus people also belive that.
In the Indus civilisation we do not have money so, instead of money we use trading. With trading , we use seals to lable our goods to tell people that it is ours. The seals are flat peices of clay with animals carved into them.
