  • Romeo and Juliet first met at Juliet's party. As soon as they saw each other they were in love. However, Romeo and Juliet's family have a feud against each other., making their relationship difficult. Also, at this party was Juliet's parents, her cousin Tybalt, Paris, and Benvolio. Tybalt was very angry when he saw Romeo there and Lord Capulet brushed it off. Paris is the man that Juliet is supposed to marry but because of Romeo, she doesn't.
  • Climax
  • Soon after the party, Romeo and Juliet decide to get married. Friar Lawrence agrees to secretly marry the two. However, soon after Tybalt tells Romeo is wants to fight and comes to his hangout. They eventually fight and Romeo ends up killing Tybalt. This results in Romeo getting exciled. Later, Juliet is told she will have to marry Paris and she decides to seek out Frair Lawrence for help as she has no where else to turn.
  • Falling Action
  • At Friar Lawrence's cell, Juliet tells him about her issue and threatens to kill herself if he does not help. So, he comes up with a plan. The plan is that Juliet will drink a poison that will make her seem dead for 48 hours and during that time she will be buried in her family's tomb. Friar Lawrence will send a messenger to Mantua, where Romeo was exiled to. Romeo will then meet up with Juliet in the tomb, she will wake, and then they will flee together. 
  • Resolution
  • Later, Juliet drinks the potion the night before her wedding and is discovered by the nurse. Romeo, however does not recive the letter and believes Juliet is dead.
  • Before Romeo goes to the tomb, he buys poison so he can be with Juliet forever. When he arrives at the tomb, he kills Paris and then he drinks the poison. A few minutes later Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead. Hearing a noise, she acts quickly and takes Romeo's dagger and stabs herself. Finally, they are together.
  • When Romeo and Juliet's parents discover everything, they decide to bury their feud as it was not worth it.
