  • The central part of the Maasai Culture is cattle.  Cattle  provides food and other resources of which they view essential to the continuation of the Maasai culture.
  • 
  • You will never be a man! You are weak!
  • In Australian culture, being able to own a home, marry, have children  and have a career are central factors to leading a successful life. These factors are also very similar to other Western cultures.
  • In Australia, teenage boys and girls go to high school after completing a primary school education. 
  • Women in Australian culture, have independence. Marriage does not dictate their status and they are often involved in the workforce. However, in Western cultures gender inequality is still present. Ultimately gender equality in Australia is a lot more progressive compared to the Maasai culture.
