In the story called "The Tell Tale Heart" By Edgar Allan Poe, a man was living in a home with and old man, he was wise and caring to the narrator and the narrator loved him too! But there was something that made the him crazy, he felt like he was being watched... He felt like the old mans eye was evil.
The narrator felt anxious and angry looking at the old man's eye. He couldn't take the pressure of it any longer, he decided he wanted to take the old mans life away.
The narrator hid under the old mans bed and waits for him to fall asleep so he can kill him. But the old man stays awake. The man has been stalking him for 7 nights.
On the eighth night the man tried to be more cautious and went in the old mans room slowly just to stare at him while he sleeps. He threw a lantern and went into the room and he suffocated him with a bed over his face and killed the old man. He chopped the old man up and left his remains in the bathtub and held his heart.

The narrator felt something, he kept hearing the old mans heart beat pounding and pounding. The narrator couldn't take the guilt anymore.... therefor he confessed to the police and turned himself in.
