The tea tax lowered, but the Colonists felt as this was another way the British were controlling them. So, the colonists dressed up as Native Americans and attacked British ships. 92,000 pounds of tea was dumped into the Harbor. Which is about $1.7 million dollars in regular money today.
The stamp act made almost all printed materials cost more for the Colonists. This was done to get more money for Britain while they were in the French and Indian war.
