  • The Attack at Pearl Harbor happened on December 7, 1941. It was a very bad and tragic time when the leader of Japan, Isoroku Yamamoto, sent many bomber planes to the military base of Pearl Harbor without the U.S. even knowing. After the U.S. started to fight back, Isoroku Yamamoto, said, "I fear all we have done was awaken the sleeping giant." Because he knew he made a terrible mistake. The next day, the U.S. declared war on Japan.
  • Germany Invades Poland
  • The battle of Britain was a huge air fight that happened during WWII. The Germans wanted to raid all of Britain, but Britain had just made a new technology called radar. With radar, the British could tell when an enemy plane was on its way and get their people to safety.
  • Concentration Camps
  • Blitzkrieg is a German term for lighting war. It is an endless fleet of tanks, jeeps, soldiers, and air crafts. Many countries used it, and when they did the other countries defenses were nothing close to being able to stop all of them. They got one tank and two more appeared behind it. It was just impossible to stop them.
