Hi, my name is Trevor and this is my story of being bilingual and speaking many african languages.
Let's get this white guy. You go to his left and I'll come up behind him. (in Zulu, african language)
Oh, sorry we didn't know you spoke Zulu.
Yo, guys, why don't we just mug someone together? I'm ready. Let's do it. (in Zulu)
My mother taught me many african languages including, Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, and Tswana. My mother also taught me Afrikaans and English so that I would be successful and be able to get a job later in life.
Repeat after me, 'kwenzekantoni' means what's happening.
Kwenzekantoni means what's happening.
As you can see, I'm a polyglot and I can speak many languages and it helps me out a lot!
