The climax of the story is when Mary kills Patrick by hitting him with the lamb leg in the back of the head
The falling action in the story is when the police come round to investigate the scene of the crime
The resolution in the story is when Mary gives the police officer the cooked lamb and gets rid of the evidence and weapon
