Storyboard Text

  • Variation: This population contains fast and slow wolves
  • Inheritance: Speed is controlled by genetics. If both parents are fast, the offspring will be fast. If both parents are slow, the offspring will be slow. If one parent is fast and the other slow, the offspring will be slow.
  • Adaptation: The number of fast wolves decreased and the number of slow wolves increased in the population because the slow wolves were able to survive and reproduce.
  • The selective pressure is a T-Rex because it is a predator. The slow wolves are better fit because the T-Rex can only see fast moving animals, the slow animals camouflage.
  • More of the slow wolves survived because the T-Rex can't see them
