Storyboard Text

  • Romulus & Remus were born to a princess and there father was Mars, the god of war. The king where they lived was worried that they would overthrow him someday so he set them adrift in a basket.    
  • They were found by a she-wolf and she looked after and protected them.    
  • One day, some shepherds stumbled across them and one them took the boys home to raise as his own. 
  • Over time, the twins became natural leaders. They become involved in dispute and Remus was arrested. The king realised his true identity. 
  • Romulus organised a rescue mission and the king was killed with Remus set free. Although they could have ruled that city the twins set out to build their own. Romulus & Remus disagreed about which hill to found their city on. 
  • They asked for help from the gods but argued about who had really won the gods challenge. Romulus started to build but Remus teased him out of jealousy. Enraged, Romulus killed his brother and went on to establish the city we know as Rome,
