  • Moshe we're sorry, 2. חטאנו כי דיברנו בה' ובך- we sinned because we spoke badly about Hashema and you. Please daven to Hashem to remove the snakes
  • Of course Hashem
  • פסוקים ד-ט
  • Make for yourself a snake and put it on a pole and whoever has been bitten and sees this snake will be healed
  • Hashem specifically sent snakes to punish בנ"י for 2 reasons. 1. In ספר בראשית a snake came to Adam and Chava and spoke badly about Hashem and now בנ"י are doing the same thing 2. every food tastes the same to snakes and the "mon" was able to taste like anything בנ"י wanted so Hashem sent snakes to show בנ"י that they should be grateful for the "mon"
  • פסוקים ד-ט
  • Our Rabbis tell us that בנ"י didn't just have to look at the snake but they had to 3. ומשעבדין את לבם- focus with their hearts. If they focused with their heart they were healed 4. והם לאו היו נמוקים- but if they didn't they would be killed by their bite. The reason Hashem chose snakes to heal בנ"י is because....5. וכי נחש ממית או מחי'ה- it is possible that a snake causes death or life. Hashem chose a snake because he wanted בנ"י to realize that they shouldn't be afraid of the snakes, they should be afraid of punishment
