- Hashem specifically sent snakes to punish בנ"י for 2 reasons. 1. In ספר בראשית a snake came to Adam and Chava and spoke badly about Hashem and now בנ"י are doing the same thing 2. every food tastes the same to snakes and the "mon" was able to taste like anything בנ"י wanted so Hashem sent snakes to show בנ"י that they should be grateful for the "mon"

The reason Hashem chose snakes to heal בנ"י is because....5. וכי נחש ממית או מחי'ה- it is possible that a snake causes death or life. Hashem chose a snake because he wanted בנ"י to realize that they shouldn't be afraid of the snakes, they should be afraid of punishment
