Storyboard Text

  • The king invited Daedalus and Icarus to the castle to build the king a labyrinth for his monster.
  • Exposition
  • "Can you and your son come help me build my labyrinth?"
  • "Can you and your son build my labyrinth?"
  • "Of course your majesty."
  • Daedalus and Icarus finished the king's labyrinth and his monsters cage. Soon after this Daedalus and Icarus were trapped in a tower by the king.
  • Rising Action
  • "I'm hungry!"
  • Rising Action
  • So they decided to make an escape plan by using the feathers of birds to make huge wings and fly out of the prison tower.
  • "Almost done."
  • Climax
  • Daedalus and Icarus leap out the window and fly back toward home away from the king.
  • "Get back down here now!"
  • "Don't fly to high!"
  • "Look at me I'm flying!"
  • Falling Action
  • Even tho Daedalus told Icarus to not fly to high he did any way causing the sun to melt the wax holding the feathers together and soon Icarus plummeted into a lake and died.
  • "Father my feathers are falling off, I flew to high!"
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus flew down to bury his son on the beach, he believed it was all his fault that his son had died and lived in sorrow for the rest of his life.
  • "What have I done to my poor innocent son, how could I."
