Benvolio and Mercutio are walking in town when they meet Tybalt who is looking for Romeo. Mercutio and Tybalt begin to fight whilst Romeo breaks it up. However, Mercutio is killed by Tybalt. In vengence for his freind, Romeo challenges and kills Tybalt in a duel. The prince then exiles Romeo from Verona.
Act III, Scene 1
The nurse tells Juliet that her cousin Tybalt and her husband Romeo have died. She later says that Romeo has been banished not executed. Juliet is distraught, starting to compare Romeo to a "Beautiful Tyrant".
Act III, Scene 2
Romeo flees to the confession room to talk to Frair Lawrence. Friar tells Romeo how he is banished from Verona. Romeo begs for death and threatens to kill himself. The Frair talks Romeo out of doing such thing and tells him to go comfort Juliet and that he could still have a life with her.
Act III, Scene 3
Capulet, Lady Capulet and Paris meet in a room. After hearing about Romeo's death, Capulet decides to offer his child's agreement to marry him. They decide to get married on Thursday that week.
Act III, Scene 4
Romeo meets Juliet for the last time before moving to Mantua. They confess their love for each other and promise to meet again as soon as they can. Juliet believes they will never meet again and predicts a "terrible future" for Romeo.
Act III, Scene 5
Lady Capulet enters and tells Juliet about how much of a villain Romeo is. In a scheme to find Romeo, Juliet agrees. Lady Capulet says she will send a person out to Mantua to kill and poison him. She also tells Juliet she is going to marry Paris in three days. Juliet refuses and a small feud within the family begins.
