Let's learn about Protein Creation!
First the DNA strand splits open and takes a gene and copies it onto an RNA strand! Also know as the MRNA! So it leaves the nucleus and heads out for the Ribosome!

On the previous slide we saw the action of translation. Where the ribosome reads the RNA strand also known as the MRNA strand. It uses this to assemble a protein. The trna fetches the amino acids to assemble the protein like an assisent chef. But the ribosome reads off them one by one. As we can see everyone has a job in making a protein. If the ribosome reads something wrong this is known as a mutation, this is when a part of the protein is made wrong so it is deformed. Once this happens the protein can't do it's job
