Storyboard Text

  • First there was Chaos, the vast immeasurable abyss, Outrageous as a sea, dark, wasteful, wild."
  • The first creatures on earth were monsters, their father was heaven and their mother was earth. Heaven kept the monsters in prison and Cronus was the only one who could save them.
  • Cronus won a battle. He learned that he and his wife's sixth son would dethrone him. Rhea sent Zeus off to the island of Crete.
  • With the help of Prometheus Zeus was able to dethrone Cronus. During the Golden Age man was created, women still did not exist.
  • Zeus was angry at Prometheus for caring so much for men. Out of anger he created women.
  • Prometheus was imprisoned by Zeus, Chiron volunteered to take his place. Zeus thought that Prometheus had a secret that he was not telling the gods.
