Benjamin Walters, he was a shy guy who used all the courage he had to go to his New York Local interview. He was as nervous as ever, because believing in himself was hard to do, especially with an executive staring right at you.
Though he was scared, he gave it everything he had.
The executive did not look impressed. He was offended by Benjamins lack of confidence. He did not believe Benjamin had what it took to be an executive.
When Benjamin got out of the interview room, he felt the ground begin to shake rapidly all around him.
Benjamin and the executive hid underneath one of the desks. The building shook and they both feared for their life.
He saved my life. Maybe I shouldn't of been so hard on him in the interview
After an hour, Benjamin decided it was time to leave. He was still very upset about the interview. He went to get on the elevator but the door wasn't working so he went to take the stair when the executive approached him.
I would like to apologize for judging you so quickly during the interview. You were very courageous during the earthquake and its a quality I like to see in my employees. Are you still considering working here?
