  • The goals of the "Knights of Labor" was to form employer retaliation against the working conditions, and to replace capitalism. 
  • People allowed to join were all producing groups, African Americans, and women." 
  • The leader was Terence V. Powderly. 
  • The industry the Knights of Labor was based off of was the tailor industry. 
  • We tried to avoid strike but after the wages were cut for the third time in a year, we went on strike against Jay Gould's railroad system. 
  • Our strike was unsuccessful, a bomb went off causing many arrest and the number of our members decreased rapidly
