  • Minor Parties are parties that do not receive wide support and are not a part of a major party.
  • 
  • Ideological : As these people both follow the same belief, they unite together to form an ideological party commited to a particular set of beliefs.  
  • 
  • I do as well. Let us form a political party together.
  • I believe women are equal with men
  • Single Issue : Both of these people unite together to campaign on only one issue. This is the reason it is called a Single Issue party.
  • I believe gay marriage should be legalized.
  • I do as well, let us form a political party based off of this issue.
  • Minor parties are significant because they have the ability to draw votes from major parties resulting in the chance of an upset. They also are more vocal on controversial issues. 
  • Economic Protest : These people are discontent with the economic situation. They band together to form a Economic Protest party.
  • As am I. Let us form a political party and demand a better econimic situation
  • I am discontent with the state of the economy.
  • Splinter : Both of them split apart from a major party to form a political party, making the new party a Splinter party.
  • I do not like how our major party is agains the LGBT community.
  • I feel the same way, let us split off and form our own party.
