  • French and Indian War
  • We paid for this war we deserve to win
  • Lets get this land
  • work as hard as you can
  • there are too many of them
  • Stamp Act
  • We could tax people on all types of paper products and stamps. We could be gaining more money because we are taxing people on more than one thing which a lot of people use everyday.
  • We need more money. the acts before have not been working. How could we tax people on a lot of stuff at once.
  • Stamp Act Congress
  • No taxation Without representation
  • We should protest by not buying British goods.
  • We should talk about how the taxes are unfair.
  • We should create a petition. Any ideas?
  • The significance of this was that the British and Colonists won but the British paid a ton of money which they thought the colonists should pay back, and this is when the British started taxing the colonists very significantly
  • Boston Massacre
  • NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
  • This act is significant because the Stamp act is when the colonists start to get upset. This act lead the colonies into the Stamp Act Congress meeting. This was the first time the colonies were really working together.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • Lets Dump it all and show them what were made of.
  • The Stamp Act Congress was important because this the first time the colonies worked together. This was when the idea of no taxation without representation was created. They decided that this was so unfair that they protested by not buying British good. Because of this the British took away the Stamp act.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill
  • Go up again. You keep fighting until you die.
  • Don't Fire until you see the whites of there eyes
  • This was very significant in this timeline because this is when the British started sending over more soldiers to the colonies because the colonists were getting very rowdy. The Colonists were doing very bad things while protesting and a soldier shot. Then more shots were fired and 4 people were killed. This is when a lot of action started to happen between the British and Colonists.
  • The Tea act caused the Boston Tea Party. this was very important to the colonies. This made the colonists feel good because they stood up for what they thought was right. This led to the British not letting colonists into the harbor until they payed for the Tea they destroyed. The colonists were also now not allowed to have town hall meetings. This was a emotional booster for the colonists.
  • This battle was one of the most important things for U.S.A. history. This Battle got the Colonies the courage to draft a declaration of independence. Even know the Colonists lost this War they killed so many British soldiers it was a moral win for them and a confidence booster. This War went back and forth but even know the British won they basically lost because of how many soldiers they lost.
  • Retreat
  • Were running out of ammo there are too many of them
