Adam. Adam Farmer. Id like to speak to Amy, please.
How long's the motel across the street been closed?
Oh, hell, two or three years, I guess. At least. pg. 209
I didn't take the medicine, Doctor. pg. 224
Well, you're here.
I feel as if this scene is a very important clue to the story because this is when Adam tries to call Amy and a different man answers. He said he has been calling this number for the past 6 months and it is very odd.
This part of the story is also interesting because the boy at the gas station across the street from the cabins said that they have been closed for 2-3 years but Adam says he was there just last year. It is a real mystery.
When Adam reaches the hospital it all makes sense what was happening throughout the story because this whole adventure was just in his mind and an illusion. It was all a coping mechanism for when his parents were killed.
