We have had this conversation before, the answer is still no!
Hey Mom, you look nice! Do you think I can have a piece of candy before dinner?
Should I just take one? I mean one won't hurt. right?
On Wednesday, Savannah came home from school starving. All she wanted was a little snack/candy to hold her over until dinner. Unfortunately Savannah was rarely allowed to have candy, especially before dinner.
I Just found this and now you're punished!!!
Savannah's mom, Cheryl, arrived home not long after Savannah . Cheryl seemed abnormally joyous , so Savannah saw this as an opportunity to ask her if she could have some candy. To improve her chance of a yes, Savannah also tries complimenting her mother. As expected, her mom said no for various reasons . She explained that candy was no good for her,and that she needed to save room for dinner.
Devastation struck Savannah. She did not think that it was fair for other kids to have candy whenever they wanted when she wasn't even allowed to have one piece. Going against her mom's rules, Savannah meticulously snuck candy into her room. She made sure that no one was watching. Little did she know that she accidentally left behind a wrapper on the floor.
"Hey Mom! How was your day? I was wondering if I could have a piece of candy?"
Cheryl walked back into the kitchen to finish making dinner. When she spotted the candy wrapper on the floor, she immediately knew that Savannah had snuck some candy. She was disappointed in her daughter for not listening, and decided that she needed to be taught a lesson. So from this day forward, every meal that Savannah has will consists of candy and nothing else. Soon, she will realize the effects candy can have on your body.
After one week, Savannah has already grew sick of the candy. At first she thought it would be nothing but fun, however now she has realized the effects of it. Ever since she's been eating candy she has had this really sharp pain in her mouth and it will not go away. Her mother takes her to the dentist, and they come to find out that Savannah has a terrible cavity!
Back at home, Savannah apologizes for not listening to her mother, and says the she will never sneak candy again. Cheryl even says that she will allow Savannah to have one piece of candy a week.
