Storyboard Text

  • Non - Renewable
  • Things such as: coal, natural gas, oil, are renewable energy sources
  • ENERGY TRANFER CHAINS
  • Solar Panel
  • Example:  When a solar pannel catches the energy from the sun, theenergy can be used to power an tornado siren, converting radiant energy into mechanical and sound energy.
  • 3- Part Energy Chain
  • Radient - chemical - mechanical
  • Non-Renewable energy sources cannot be readly replaced by nature.
  • 3 - Part Energy Chain
  • An energy transfer chain is when one form of energy is transformed into another or energy is moved from one place to another.
  • 4-Part Energy Chain
  • Solar Panel
  • The sun gives its energy to the tree, that then grows fruit, a person eats the fruit, then uses the energy to pedal a bike.
  • Reveiw
  • - Mrs.Chen (the seven types of energy) - The law of Thermal Dynamics - Non Renewable and Renewable energy sources - 3 and 4 part energy chains
  • The chemical energy from the battery is used to power the flash light, to give off light, and the light energy also gives off heat.
  • Chemical - Light - Thermal
  • Heat
  • Energy from the sun (radaint), is colected in the solar pannels, turned into electric energy, wich turned to mechanical energy, wich turns the record on a record player creating sound energy.
  • Radiant energy < Electric energy < Mechanical energy < Sound energy
  • THE END
  • Mrs.Chen
  • In this comic you should have learned the things listed on the board
