So you want to be a SCOTUS Dan?
Yep, that's my dream! Just have to hope I get through the whole process.
What exactly is the process?
First off, I must be nominated by the president.
Next step is the Senate Judiciary Committee where vetting, first hearing, and committee vote occurs.
Next is Full Senate. Here the final vote will be made. A filibuster may or may not happen.
How good of a chance do you think you have?
Well, I think I have a decent chance. I have served as a law clerk to a SCOTUS justice, I am a Catholic, attended Harvard.
I heard it can take anywhere from about 25 to 125 days for a supreme court judge to be appointed! I guess it would be worth the wait though!
I just hope it runs smoothly. Hopefully no malicious borkers are out there to get me!
I sure hope not! Good luck, Dan!
