- Dear colonists we are now passing some new acts and failure to follow them will result in a consequencefirst new act is the Boston port bill which states that the harbors will be closing for some timeThe second act is the Massachusetts government act which states that we will replace all the elective local government for an appointive one and increase the power of the government militaryThe third new act is the administration of justice act which allows British officials charged with capital offenses to be tried in another colony or in EnglandThe fourth new act is the quartering act which permits the requisition of unoccupied buildings to house troops The fifth and final new act is the Quebec act says that vested the government of Quebec in a governor and council and preserved the French civil code
- Three ships showed up in the harbor and the people were not happy so the sons of liberty came up with a plan
- Men from the sons of liberty got together and threw hundreds of boxes of tea into the harbor
- the soldiers found the tea in the harbor and were furious so they quickly wrote a letter to the king and told him what happend
- The king was furious that the colonists threw the tea into the harbor so he passed five new acts
