- It was a battle in New York and it was the biggest loss in the war and we lost 20% of the army just to one battle. Washington was forced to retreat from the British. This was the largest battle in the war and We lost New York.
- Brandywine
- The Americans attacked the British by crossing a river that was ice cold and many of the soldiers died on the way. The battle was on Christmas day and we fought the German Mercenary. It wasn't the biggest victory but it was a morale boost.
- Saratoga
- It was a American win and Washington got on his horse and lead the army and the British had to surrender and they gave up and most of the British troops left New Jersey.
- Summary
- The Americans were trying to protect Philadelphia but they lost the battle because the British knew that lands and they went around the Americans and they killed a lot in the process. The Americans had to retreat
- It was a major when for the Americans and they call it a turning point for the Americans because other forces decided to join the Americans side. Americans won the battle and it was a great success
- The battles started off rough but then the battle of Saratoga changed everything. After that battle they held there own
