1.This is the beginning of the story and the part where the mystery is most key, "“Well, now,” Mr. Summers said soberly, “guess we better get started, get this over with, so’s we can go back to work.” This shows the tension within the story.
2.There is mystery within this part of the story because the people are wondering who has been selected in order to be the stoned person.“I think we ought to start over,” Mrs. Hutchinson said, as quietly as she could. “I tell you it wasn’t fair. You didn’t give him time enough to choose. Everybody saw that.” this shows the end of the mystery and leads to the difference between them.
3.In the third scene, they decided to bring all of bills family and make them all choose, and eventually leads to tessie being chosen to be killed. This is surprising due to how tessie mood changed durrastically and now she will die.
4.the final scene displays the end of tensioin, mystery and suspense becsase of the final decision of stoning tessie. Although the villagers had forgotten the ritual and lost the original black box, they still remembered to use stones." This quote shows how the final decision snapped and now tessie will face the consequence.
