  • Today, I will be teaching you alcohol.
  • Okay!
  • Alcohol is created by fermented grains fruits and vegetables. Yeast or bacteria is used to to the sugars from food into alcohol. Alcohol is a natural product but, when it is observed into the blood stream it negatively affects the central nervous system.
  • So what exactly is alcohol?
  • Alcohol slows down the central nervous system; it is a depressant. It can block messages to the brain, altering someones perceptions, emotion, movement, vision, and hearing. 
  • How does alcohol affect the body?
  • In small amounts a person will act more relaxed. Overuse of alcohol can cause a person to stagger, loss coordination, slur their speech or become disoriented.  In small amounts a person will act more relaxed.   • How will a person act if they are drinking? How will a person act if they are drinking?
  • No, people can react differently. some people might become very friendly and talkative while others can be aggressive and angry while drunk.
  • Does each person react to alcohol differently?
  • When people are drunk their reactions times are dramatically slowed.  They think that they are properly functioning, but they are not. While intoxicated, people tend to act out of character.
  • Why are people told not to drink and drink?
