  • The polar bear has different adaptations that help it survive. It has thick fur to keep it warm, sharp teeth to help eat, large paws to help not sink in the snow, fat to keep them warm, and small ears to reduce heat loss.
  • The camel has different adaptations such as a double row of eyelashes to keep the sand out of their eyes, bushy eyebrows to keep the sun out of the eyes, flat feet to spread their weight on the sand, tick fur to provide shade, and the hump stores fat for nourishment.
  • The turtle has different adaptations such as a hard she to protect it from predators, webbed feet to help it swim, forelimbs to help with speed in the ocean, tissues that get oxygen from water, and strong jaws for defense.
