Storyboard Text

  • S.O.S I NEED YOUR HELP. I AM INJURED, NEAR DEATH, AND TOO WEAK TO HIKE OUT OF HERE. I AM ALL ALONE, THIS IS NO JOKE...
  • Mom and Dad I passed all my class this school year.
  • Congradulation son
  • Hey! How about I get you some new supplies better equipped for your trip to Alaska.
  • Leather Shop
  • A couple and a group of hunters stumbles upon Chris McCandless dead corpse in a bus in the middle of Alaska. His body has been confirmed to be dead for about 2 weeks which causes the paleness in his skin.
  • I wonder if the pilot is going to rendezvous with me  at the location I gave him in 3 days. Can I even make it there?
  • McCandless is talking his parents the good grades he got throughout the school year so that he can reassure them he's going to be safe while he drives around the states in his new car.
  • I don't think he should he acknowledged because what he did was just plain stupid.
  • Along his journey to Alaska he encountered an old man, Mr.Franz, that grew attached to McCandless personality. He grew so attached he decided to buy him new supplies and even asked him if he could adopt him.
  • I speculate that he died due to the poor environment of how he kept his food leading to the mold growing on the seeds therefore leading him to his death.
  • The author is talking about how he agrees with the theory about how Chris McCandless died based on his own experience in the mountains similar to Chris's adventure.
  • Later in the book another theory appears when two hunters come by and retrace McCandless steps. They conclude that he was way in over his head and that he was just an amateur because he couldn't tell the difference between a moose and a caribou.
  • The last theory that people believed of how Chris McCandless died was by eating moldy potato seeds that lead to him poisoning himself because he wasn't able to excrete the poison.
