The exposition is when Ponyboy gets jumped by the socs on the way back from the movies. He went alone because all of the other people in the greasers do not enjoy it as much and they do not get it like he does.
The rising action is when Johnny kills Bob. It started when the socs rounded them up at the park and startled Johnny so he grabbed his knife and killed him to save ponyboy.
The climax in this story is when Johnny dies. Johnny is getting buried and Pony boy is watching as he cannot believe he died. Pony is telling himself that he is not dead and that he is dreaming.
The falling action is when Dally dies. His best friend Johnny dies because of an accident and Dally feels as if he cannot live without Johnny. Dally robs a grocery store and gets chased by the cops and he pulls out a gun that had no bullets but the cops did not know that and gets shot becauseof it.
The resolution of the story is when Ponyboy is writing his paper for his english class. He is writing it because he has a bad grade and want to rise it. He starts it the same way the story started.
My favorite part is the rumble. Darry walks up to find that his old teamate is a soc. They are fighting for land. They both try their best but the greasers pull out a win.
