After going to the movies alone, Ponyboy, walked back home. That was when a Mustang full Socs pulled up next to him and started attacking him. When all hope was lost for Ponyboy he heard the pounding footsteps of his friends and brothers. Throughout the scene talked about fellow characters traits and personalities.
After deciding to run away, Ponyboy and Johnny ended up at an abandoned park. Just as they settled down a car full of Socs zoomed up too the park . When they hopped out they started chatting with Johnny and Ponyboy and it got worse. One Soc leaped at Ponyboy and started drowning him in the near by fountain. Just before they could attack Johnny he pulled out a blade and stabbed and killed the Soc, Bob.
When Dally returns Johnny and Ponyboy to their hide-out to their surprise it was in flames. After hearing about children potentially being inside the now extremely dangerous church the boys jump through a window to try to save them. Once they had all the children out Pony boy jumped back out and when it was Johnny's turn a beam collapsed on him, leaving him severely burned and crippled.
"Tell Dally" Its too late to tell Dally
Its just a bluff
Right after Johnnys death, Dally fleed the hospital. It was only a couple =hours later when Darry got a surprise phone call from Dally saying that he robbed a grocery store and the cops were after him. The whole gang ran to the lot where they met up with Dally and unfortunately the police. That's when they pulled there guns and so did Dally, except his was only a bluff. Yet the police didn't know that and Dally was killed before he hit the ground.
After the death of Bob, Ponyboy had a court date to determine whether he was guilty or not. The judge made a decision regarding Ponyboy to let him go and not make him goo into a boys house.
My favorite part was when Ponyboy was still recovering and out of nowhere grabbed his favorite book and a note fell out. He picked it up and out of his surprise it was from Johnny telling him he knew he was dying, how he was going to miss his, and telling him to stay gold. That last line hit him hard because that was Ponyboy's favorite poem that he had told Johnny.
