Oh no! I just got out of the movies and now I am being chased by a red corvair.
Johnny did you actually kill that Soc to save me from drowning in the fountain?
Johnny please stay with me. Don't die on me.
The exposition describes how at the beginning of the story Ponyboy comes out of the movie theater. Not long after, a red corvair is following him.
We just finished up the rumble and the Greasers ended up winning!
The rising action is when Johnny kills the Soc at the park. Then, Johnny and Ponyboy flee to a church that Dally said to go to.
Ponyboy, you are assigned to write a theme to raise your grade in my class.
The climax of the story is when the church catches on fire. soon later, Johnny dies because he went in the church to save some kids lives. He later is severely injured from inhaling to much smoke and a beam from the church lands on him.
The falling action is about how the greasers win the rumble. Then Dally dies, Ponyboy recovers from his emotional and physical trauma.
The resolution is about how the Socs now leave the greasers alone. And also Ponyboys teacher asigns him a theme to write about to earn extra credit to raise his grade.
My favorite part of the book was the burning church. That may sound bad but if you think about it, it was the most self-less part in the whole book. I love that Ponyboy and Johnny put their lives in danger just to save some little kids. It didn’t matter what happened to them at that moment.
Come on Pony! Let's go save these kids in the burning church.
