Welcome to The Indus River Valley Civilisation also known as the Harappan Civilisation! Our land is located along the gorgeous Indus River. Our civilization consists of the cities Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, and Lothal. All built 3300 - 1300 BCE
We used to form our buildings with mud bricks, but now over time we have adapted and learned to form larger homes from stone on top of the old mud brick.
This is the central well where people may use a shower tray and jar to clean themselves, we have an extremely advanced water system created from bricks that allows sewage to be disposed through underground drains, private and public baths and numerous reserves.
Welcome to the Great Bath! We use the Great Bath for special religious rituals and it is said the Great Bath will purify and restore the health of the bathers.
Our cites operate through trade, cities create things such as pots, beads, cloth, and cotten, while farmers bring crops into the cities to trade. Traders often bring material for our workers making the goods we exchange our currency.
This is the farmland, we prepare the field by using wooden plows and using the river to our advantage to have more crops
