  • Rainsford fell of of his yacht after trying to retrieve his cigar.  No one was aware of this though, because it was nigh, so the boat continued on with out stopping to pick him up. Rainsford hears a gun shot and seeing that there is no other option, he swims in that direction hoping for salvation. He ends up on an island know as 'Ship Trap Island.'
  • Rising Action #3
  • Rainsford walks further into the jungle where he finds a battle ground from the gun shots. Continuing on he finds an extravagant house, here he meets Zaroff, and it is discovered that Zaroff is also a hunter, but hunts humans as his game. He want Rainsford to join him in hunting someone, and when he is rejected, Zaroff decides to hunt Rainsford instead.
  • Climax
  • Rainsford is given a three hour head start. He makes fox trails before he climbs up a tree to settle down for the night. He is pretty proud of his work, but later on he can hear Zaroff coming.  He plays with Rainsford and lets him go for another day of hunting tomorrow.
  • Resolution
  • On the next day Rainsford builds a Malay Man Catcher. Sadly this only injures Zaroff, but it give him more time to hide from him. He comes across a sand pit, where he builds a Burmese Tiger Pit. This ends up killing his favorite dog. Zaroff goes to rest up and gets back up. Rainsford builds a knife trap that ends up killing Zaroff's partner, and then he is chased closely.  
  • Rainsford jumps off of a cliff into a pool of water where Zaroff believes he has won this tough game. Little did he know, that was not the end of Rainsford.
  • Zaroff celebrates his victory with a nice meal, and then prepares for bed. In his bedroom he is greeted by Rainsford who hunts him down. Zaroff congratulates  him for his victory. Rainsford ends up killing Zaroff, even though in the beginning he thinks it is wrong to hunt humans.
