C= What if Ms. Wyman was principil and Mr. Kiley was their teacher?
Do what I say and get back to class, Addie!
You can't be so tough on her
A= What if the were in high school?
I wish they would stop
Your so stupid Joe!
M= What if both of Bobby's parents died?
I wish Bobby still hung out with us
I have no one!!!
If Ms. Wyman was principil Addie would have not argued so much with her in fear of getting detention. Mr. Kiley would have been nicer. There would be no No-Name party becasue Ms. Wyman would have the power to shut it down. Addie probably would stand for the pledge too. The book wouldn't be very good with the No-Name party.
P= What if the other party was for something different than No-Names?
...and the republicans win!!!
If the gang of five was in high school they probably wouldn't care as much about the parties. They would be used to being called these names and they would just hang out at the candy kitchen without talking about it so much. The names would also get meaner and they might have some trouble dealing with their problems. The story wouldnt be as intresting if they didn't care about the parties or being called names.
E= Retell the story without Joe.
Bobby's life would be entirely different. Without his dad to support him Bobby would never have done the speech or called Kelsey. He would probably isolate himself and lose self confidence. Without Bobby there would be no gang of five. Bobby is what keeps the gang of five together.
R= What if the gang of five were popular, instead of all the "popualr kids"?
Hey guys! Come Here!
I think it wouldn't have had a big impacat. They would still be getting called names and Bobby wouldn't have done thie speech. They still wouldn't have won and there would be no No-Name day. The No-Name party represents how they've been called names and this is their solution. I think the story wouldn't be as good without the No-Name party.
If Joe wasn't in the story, Collin probably would go to the dance with Addie. I think Colin wouldn't know he is gay, or he would be trying to hide that he is. They would have a good time at the dance but only date for around a week then break up. Addie would be so upset they broke up but Colin would be kinda relieved. Colin would have a crush on Skeezie but not tell Skeezie becasue he knows Skeezie is straight.
I think if the gang of five was popular they would be nice to the other people and not call them names. They wouldn't be underdogs and the whole book would be different. There wouldn't be a no-name party and they would make another party. They would win the election due to their popularity. I think the story wouldn't be as good if they were popular.
