Pony Boy Curtis
WHEN I STEPPED OUT into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home.
The climax is when Johnny dies. These injuries are due to his burns from the fire. All of Johnny's friends are sad and not feeling well.
A battle between the Socs and Greasers breaks out. Dallas dies and Pony is starting to recover from his injuries after the rumble. He finally feels better and goes to talk to his brother Darrel.
Ponyboy gets to stay with Darry and isnt being sent to a home. This is because they won the court trial, Pony Boy is writing a project for school and the project is this book.
My favorite part of the book is when the Greasers beat the Socs. I liked this part because it helped the socs realize they were not the best.
