Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Hey greaser
  • Rising Action
  • Dally, you need to leave her alone!
  •  How can you stand up for her ponyboy... she's a soc?
  • Climax
  • Don't you ever come back here again
  • In the state of Oklahoma, there is only one thing that can determine your future... and that is your social class. Here in Tulsa, there are two. You can either be a Social, long for Soc, or a Greaser. Socs are the west-side rich kids, vs the Greasers who are the east-side hoodlums.
  • Falling Action
  • One night Ponyboy along with the greasers decided to go to the movies. Dally, who was the roughest greaser, spotted a Soc. When Ponyboy and Johnny entered they noticed that Dally was being really rude and obnoxious to a young girl and told him to stop.
  • Resolution
  • court dismissed
  • Cherry greatly appreciated that Ponyboy stood up for her so they watched the rest of the movie together. Later that night, Chery's boyfriend, who was also a soc, got upset that ponyboy and Johnny had been hanging out with cherry. Bob and his crew decided to jump Johnny and Ponyboy but that resulted in Johnny killing Bob.
  • Favorite Part
  • After Johnny kills Bob, he and Ponyboy are forced to leave town and go to the suburbs with the help from Dally. Dally gives them directions to a church which is where they stay for a while. After a couple of days, Dally comes to visit Pony and Johnny and takes them out to eat, but when they return to the church, they notice it's on fire and realize that there's children in there and decide to go save them. After Johnny,Pony, and Dally save the kids, Johnny suffers from a back injury and dies.
  • Please Help!!!!
  •  After Johnny's Death, Dally killed himself because he was too upset and Ponyboy was sent to court to determine whether or not he would be able to live with his brothers AND if he was guilty or not for Bob's death. Fortunatly he was not guilty and was able to live with his brothers.
  • My favorite part was at the end when Pony writes his essay and you realize that that entire book was his essay that he wrote for his English class.
