Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Nice to meet you, I'm Johnny!!
  • Hey, I'm Darry!!
  • I'm Dally ;)
  • Hi, I'm Cherry!!
  • Sup, I'm Sodapop!!
  • Hey, I'm Bob!!
  • Hi. I'm Ponyboy!!
  • Hi, I'm Randy!!
  • Rising Action
  • "I killed him. I killed that boy."
  • AHHHH!!!!
  • OMG Johnny!!
  • Climax
  • OMG!!! The church!!
  • Meet Darry, Sodapop, Ponyboy, Johnny, Dally, Cherry, Bob, and Randy. All of these characters are presented many times in The Outsiders. All of them live as greasers, except for Cherry, Bob, and Randy, who are Socs. Greasers and Socs have never liked each other. Greasers live life on the more less wealthy side of town, while Socs live as rich, spoiled kids on their side of the town.
  • Falling Action
  • No, Johnny!! You can't leave us!!
  • Suddenly, Bob had grabbed Ponyboy and started choking him in the water fountain. Ponyboy and Johnny had just been surrounded by a couple of Socs in the park. Johnny felt the need to help out his buddy, so he used his knife and stabbed Bob to save Ponyboy.
  • Resolution
  • When Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy all got back to the church, it had caught on fire. Johnny and Ponyboy had noticed there were kids in the church, and decided to go in and save them. Dally and all of the pedestrians had been worried for Johnny and Ponyboy, after the boys had been in the developing flamed church for a while.
  • Favorite Part
  • Johnny!! Ponyboy!! No!!
  • After the heroic church fire battle, Johnny had been in terrible shape. The hospital had told the greasers he wouldn't survive. Johnny had passed away as a hero, not a juvenile delinquent anymore.
  • Johnny, stay strong!!
  • After all of the commotion, Ponyboy had to write a paper for his English class. Ponyboy had had a hard time completing this assignment, but he had to finish it to raise his grade. So, after the journey "The Outsiders" took us on, it turned out to be Ponyboy's paper for English.
  • So...where do I start?
  • Ponyboy had found a note from Johnny in the book Gone with the Wind, they had been reading when they had ran away. The note had explained Johnny knew he wouldn't make it, and how he had given Ponyboy best wishes and things to accomplish for him. This note had great value in it, due to it being Johnny's last message.
  • Stay gold, Ponyboy.
