  • The first amendment allows these people to protest. They have freedom of speech.

  • Because of the second amendment, these people have the right to bear arms, meaning they can own weapons.
  • The third amendment says that no soldier can stay in a house without the consent of the owner
  • I don't have to let you stay here!
  • You can't search my house! You don't have a reason to.
  • The fourth amendment says that no one can search or take anyone's property without a reason. This includes the government.
  • The sixth amendment says that everyone gets the rights to a speedy trial, trial by jury, and to the services of a lawyer. This means that if you are charged with something, you can have a lawyer to defend you

  • The seventh amendment says that anyone charge a fine of $20 or more can have a trial.
  • Your fine is $20.
