  • The Townsend Acts
  • Now, we're putting taxes on glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea.. AND we're allowed to search for stolen goods now
  • TAXED
  • Ugh! The colonists are getting a bit annoyed of this..
  • The Boston Massacre
  • Intolerable Acts
  • Colonists were provoking the British, and the British ended up killing five of them.
  • This event caused a lot of propaganda and made the British look bad.
  • We're allowing the British East Indian Company to sell tea for SUPER cheap!
  • But... that'll affect our business! The local tea suppliers will go broke!
  • THROW THE TEA OVER THE EDGE!!!
  • Boston Tea Party
  • Thus beginning the Revolutionary War
  • As punishment for the Boston Tea Party, the colonists must follow our new, extremely strict rules... Oh, and you don't get to use the harbor!
