  • Colonists were stock piling weapons. It was the start of the American Revolution. April 19 1775 British troops marched into Lexington. A shot was heard around the world that began the fighting. The British were stopped and headed to Concord.

  • Valley Forge
  • Washington planed a sneak attack the day after Christmas because George Washington new that the hessians would be drunk from celebrating Christmas. Also the Hessians didn't expect it and surrendered because it was snowing.
  • Battle of Yorktown
  • General Burgoyne of Great Britain clashed with general Arnolds and gates of the American forces. The Americans killed 200 and captured another 250 is a decisive American victory.
  • Valley forge was a camp in Pennsylvania. Valley forge functioned as the third of eight winter encampments for the continental Army's main body commanded by general George Washington during the American revolutionary war.
  • The battle of Yorktown was the last battle of the American revolution. A troop from the American army trapped lord Charles Cornwallis army against the York river in southern Virginia.
